Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AuditPilot (the "Service"), a web-based software application for ISO management-system auditors, certification bodies and compliance consultants. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AuditPilot lets you run audits and pre-certification readiness assessments: you complete a standard-based checklist and the Service helps you derive evidence-cited findings, nonconformity (NC) reports and NC → corrective-action → closure records, and export them to Word/PDF. An AI assistant may draft finding text from your notes. You remain the auditor: you review, edit and decide every conformity determination. The Service is a productivity tool and does not issue, grant or withhold certifications.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for use by the named user; seats are licensed per user.

3. Subscriptions, billing and Merchant of Record

The Service is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). Payments are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record — a third party identified at checkout — who handles the order, invoicing, and collection of applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to the Merchant of Record's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to breach security or access other tenants' data; reverse-engineering the Service; uploading unlawful content; or using the Service to violate any applicable law, accreditation rule or third party's rights.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the audit content, notes, documents and records you enter ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host and process Customer Data solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.

7. AI-generated drafts

AI-assisted drafts are suggestions only and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying every finding, citation and report before use. The Service is not a substitute for professional auditor judgement or a certification decision.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination you may export your Customer Data for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
